WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

I just got back from a screening for the movie Where The Wild Things Are. It made me laugh, giggle, howl, and cry. It made it ok to feel like a child still when you are 26. Watch it without expectation. But watch as soon as it comes out on October 16th.

FROM 1996 TO 2009

In one of our afternoon bike rides we found an abandoned neighborhood at the Navy Yard. We discover that it has been inhabited since 1996 as an effort by the navy to cut budget expenses

it is such much nicer to go to the beach than to stay in the city. Therefore last Friday we took the E to the LIRR (babylon stop) to the bus that took us to Robert Moses State park.

this piece was amazing. If you haven't seen it you should. The artist does a great job defeating the conventions of nature and architecture. I also loved the meticulous attention to detail surrounding the pool which helped to make you believe that you are actually just about to really enter the inside of the pool full of water.


After that we took a walk to the building in Long Island City were is legal to do graffiti.

COMMUTE IN FALL

I've been commuting to NYC a lot lately and I have to say that the leafs on this time of year is what makes the ride pleasant and the distance short. For every trip I take a series of pictures. The first one are more about the sky than about the leaves. These are the first round of sixteen taken on the afternoon of October 11 2008.

I have to say the art or better said the exhibit After Nature was a big piece of shit in cubes. I might be being harsh. But all we have to say to the new museum is:

also I finally got Dot Dot Dot. after three attempts last weekend we finally went to Dexter Sinister. Have any one read it yet? I started by reading the cory arcangel article and it is pretty interesting.
