It's always interesting when part of your routine is distracted by and alteration of the environment. On friday, as I was walking down to take the subway to work, I realized that two things had happen over night in my block.

_1 someone tag the entrance of the my subway stop with a really bad graffiti and by the time I came back from work septa had already tried to clean it.

so they made it even uglier

_2 the crown chicken underneath my house added to big food posters with guess what! A green mix salad that is healthier than your regular chicken popcorn.

Saturday was just different (am I sounding like a midwestern? scary). peter couldn't get an Iphone, which made him grumpy and I couldn't get to the bank on time to cash a check, which made me grumpy. In order to cool down our grumpiness we decided to do a tour of dive bars in Philly. Have in mind that this is at 1:00 pm which allows us to see the real crowd on the places.


we went to dirty franks and played hangman. but I was to distracted by the coke transaction that was going on. sorry no pictures of that either.


we went to locust bar.


this one got points because you can get a half pitcher for $4 dollars. good for the economic recession.

After that it was to hot. so we decided to explore $1 dollars stores in chinatown

I realize my new blanket is really nice and big


I tried to fly this kite that we bought at the 1 dollar store but it didn't went well.


and then peter tried. He was definitely better. his kite was nicer and had a cool pattern


I was exhausted!
